At RecPoker.com we define SPAM messages as messages that are posted solely to promote a single user's benefit and not the community as a whole. This includes messages promoting affiliate programs, affiliate based websites, off topic products and services, specific on/offline poker rooms.

RecPoker will continuously monitor, seek out, and remove spammers who openly violate the following well established rules of the rec.gambling.poker community.

From the rec.gambling FAQ: "...some leeway may be permitted for software and books that are gambling related, especially if special discounts are offered to the rec.gambling community. Long ads are simply not appropriate. Frequent posting of ads is also not appropriate -- once a month is often enough." We understand at times other users may request an affiliate link or promotional offer from other users. In most cases this is fine as it was solicited by another user.
